Report for Telecommunications Commission Meeting
November 7, 2013 — 4:30 pm
1. Access Waterloo
I have gotten response from a couple of groups that we sent the letter to.
• The People's Health Clinic came down and did a show about the I -Smile program and
Delta Dental.
• I have met with the advisory board with the First Judicial District Department of
Correctional Services to give them an idea of what it takes to put a program on the access
channel.
• I have been in contact with a Rotary Club member from the Sunnyside group and
hopefully I can spur some interest in them to start a Rotary program.
2. New Public Access Programs:
A. Charles George Missions: Charles and Stephanie Wright have finished up
four programs for us. Their show airs on Tuesday nights at 7:00.
B. Mission 2 U: We had a group from the Miracle Life Center come down for
training and they have produced a couple shows. We have started airing
them on Tuesday afternoons at 4:30.
C. Style City Music: A music program that features videos from around the
world. I am downloading this program from PegMedia.org a place to
download access programs for free.
3. Council Meetings on the Web:

This is the link to the Waterloo Community TV YouTube channel. We have 8 subscribers to our
channel and over 1,500 views of our videos. Which include the city council meetings, city
council budget meeting, Planning and Zoning Commission meetings and the Fun Run.
