AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 544,
FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND BY ENACTING NEW SECTION 544,
FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 544, entitled "Four-Way Stop Intersections", of Ordinance No. 2644,
known as the Traffic Ordinance is hereby repealed; that new Section 544, entitled
"Four-Way Stop Intersections" is hereby enacted as follows:
SEC. 544 FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS
The following intersections or parts of intersections shall be known as "Stop
Intersections" or "Four-Way Stop Intersections" and every driver of a vehicle shall
stop in accordance with the provisions of Section 221 of this ordinance:
(1) Ansborough Avenue and Martin Road
(2) Ansborough Avenue and West Fourth Street
(3) Ansborough Avenue and West Ridgeway Avenue
(4) Ansborough Avenue and Ridgemont Road
(5) Arlington and Sherman
(6) Baltimore Street and Ridgeway Avenue
(7) Burton Avenue and Conger Street
(8) Burton Avenue and West Donald
(9) Eleventh Street (West) and East Mitchell Avenue
(10) Fourth Street (West) and west Ridgeway Avenue
(11) Hammond Avenue and East Mitchell Avenue
