Dear Ms. Schares
Mediacom is in the process of transforming its TV channel line-up to all -digital, which will bring
faster Internet, more channels, more HD, better picture and sound quality for an all-around better
viewing experience. This transition will move channels 23 through 80 to a permanent digital home.
Customers with older TVs (manufactured before 2007) that do not have a built-in digital tuner or those
who do not have a Mediacom digital receiver will need a digital adapter in order to continue to see the
content on these channels.
Existing customers can receive up to three (3) adapters free until January 30, 2013; each
additional adapter beyond 3 will cost $.99 per month as of September 15, 2011. Starting on January 31,
2013 a fee of $.99 per adapter will be added to the customer's monthly bill. All new customers will see a
fee of $.99 per adapter on their monthly bill upon signing up with Mediacom.
Mediacom is proud to serve City of Waterloo, and looks forward to bringing our customers the
best services we can provide. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact Lee Grassley via
email at igrassley@mediacomcc.com, or via phone at (319) 268-5033.
Sincerely,
