RESOLUTION NO. 2008-472
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CRAFT-
COCHRAN FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "B-
P" BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
HIGHWAY 63 AND CYCLONE DRIVE FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF A 17, 600 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING ON LOT 2 OF
GREENBELT CENTRE PLAT NO. 2 INCLUDING A 28-
STALL PARKING LOT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for property generally located at the
southwest corner of Highway 63 and Cyclone Drive for construction
of a 17, 600 square foot building on Lot 2 of Greenbelt Centre Plat
No. 2 including a 28-stall parking lot, legally described as
follows :
Lot No. Two (2) in "Greenbelt Centre Plat No. 2", in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 9, 2008, at 5 : 30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for property generally located at the
southwest corner of Highway 63 and Cyclone Drive for construction
of a 17, 600 square foot building on Lot 2 of Greenbelt Centre
Plat No. 2 including a 28-stall parking lot, be and the same is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of June, 2008 .
