G r WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had the parcel
o -de8cribed herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,

a WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
in conjunction with new housing opportunities .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
,Q4ERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel hereinafter
de-cribed to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of
which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
'cera, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
gthorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City
and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the
acTreement to purchase the property from the owners thereof, and
Rlxe deed for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and
approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the
�prpperty and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation
t the sale from City funds .
The subject parcel is :
Former Lafayette School Property
John Foley - Owner
Lots Nos . 5 through 11 in Block No. 18 in "Linden
Place" in Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 2008 .
