RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO WATERLOO
J CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU TO CONDUCT THE
AMERICAN LEGION STATE CONVENTION PARADE ON
ti JULY 12, 2008 .

WHEREAS, the Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau has made
�iz44 ten application to the City Council asking that they be
�.u�tp rized and permitted to conduct the American Legion State
Qanvention Parade on July 12, 2008, and
s WHEREAS, said parade will begin at approximately 6 : 00 p.m.
a;nd end at approximately 7 : 00 p.m. , with route traveling east on
West 4th Street crossing the Cedar River, crossing over on
Spy amore Street or Lafayette Street to East 5th Street across the
.river to West 5th Street and Commercial Street, then Commercial
-qqt. to West Park Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
kATERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to the Waterloo
Convention & Visitors Bureau to conduct the American Legion State
Convention Parade on July 12, 2008 beginning at approximately
6: 00 p.m. and ending at approximately 7 : 00 p.m. , with route
traveling east on West 4th Street crossing the Cedar River,
crossing over on Sycamore Street or Lafayette Street to East 5th
Street across the river to West 5th Street and Commercial Street,
then Commercial Street to West Park Avenue .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 2008 .
