RESOLUTION N0. 2008-635 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RIVERFRONT RENAISSANCE PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Temporary Construction Easement dated July 28, 2008, conveying unto the City of Waterloo, Iowa, certain real property to allow access for construction of the River Walk system as part of the Riverfront Renaissance Project, described as follows : S & J Enterprises of Denver, L.C. , 722 Water Street Description• Temporary Easement 1 A parcel of land situated in part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. , also referred to as the fractional block Southwesterly of Block 2 of the Original Plat of Waterloo East lying between 5th Street and 6th Street, City of Waterloo, County of Black Hawk, State of Iowa, more particularly described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Water Street and the Southwesterly extension of the Southeasterly line of said Block 2, also being the Northwesterly right-of-way line of 6th Street; thence Southwesterly on the Southwesterly extension of said Block 2, a distance of 112 . 08 feet to the Southwesterly line of the parcel of land described in Document 2007 005489 and recorded in the Black Hawk County Recorder' s office; thence Northwesterly on said Southwesterly line to a line that is 10 . 00 feet Northwesterly of and parallel with the Southwesterly extension of the Southeasterly line of said Block 2; thence Northeasterly on said parallel line to a line that is 10 . 00 feet Southwesterly of and parallel with the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Water Street; thence Northwesterly on said parallel line 70 . 24 feet to a line that is parallel with the Southwesterly extension of the Southeasterly line of said Block 2; thence Northeasterly on said parallel line to the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Water Street; thence Southeasterly on the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Water Street to the point of beginning.
