ORDINANCE NO. 5137
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED
NEXT TO 35 FLETCHER AVENUE IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, as follows:
That part of Block Twenty-six (26), Westfield and a
part of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section
Twenty-two (22), Township Eighty-nine North (T89N),
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Two (2),
aforesaid Block Twenty-six (26); thence N89°40'34"E
Sixteen and Ten Hundredths (16.10) feet along the South
line of said Lot Two (2) to the Southeast corner of
parcel described in Document No. 2010-18771 in the
Black Hawk County Recorder's Office and to the point of
beginning; thence N89°40'34"E One Hundred Fifty-eight
and Twenty Hundredths (158.20) feet still along said
South line to the Southeast corner of aforesaid Parcel;
thence S59°20'56"E Thirty-one and Eight Hundredths
(31.08) feet to the North line of Lot Six (6),
aforesaid Block Twenty-six (26), and to the Northwest
corner of Tract "A", City Lot Deed 619, page 788 in
aforesaid Recorder's Office; thence S89°41'01"W One
Hundred Eighty-nine and Forty Hundredths (189.40) feet
along said North line, and along the North line of Lot
Six (6), Lot Five (5), Lot Four (4), and Lot Three (3),
said Block Twenty-six (26) to the Northeast corner of
Tract "B", said City Lot Deed; thence N15°33'58"E
Sixteen and Sixty-one Hundredths (16.61) feet to the
point of beginning, containing 2778 square feet;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to the
following conditions:
1. That a plat of survey is submitted for the area to be
vacated.
