RESOLUTION NO. 2008-700
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "B-P" BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT FOR THE
COUNTRY CLUB BUSINESS CENTER DEVELOPMENT
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND SAN MARNAN DRIVE TO
ALLOW FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN APPROXIMATELY
14, 400 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE BUILDING AND UP TO
FOUR SMALLER OFFICE BUILDINGS OF
APPROXIMATELY 4, 000 SQUARE FOOT EACH IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for the Country Club Business Center
development generally located at the southeast corner of
Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive to allow for the
development of an approximately 14, 400 square foot office building
and up to four smaller office buildings of approximately 4, 000
square foot each, legally described as follows :
Lots 1, 2, and 3 Country Club Business Center 3rd
Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 18, 2008, at
5 : 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for the Country Club Business Center
development generally located at the southeast corner of
Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive to allow for the
development of an approximately 14, 400 square foot office
building and up to four smaller office buildings of approximately
4 , 000 square foot each, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 2008 .
