RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO EAST HIGH
SCHOOL TO HOLD HOMECOMING PARADE ON OCTOBER 3,

o s WHEREAS, East High School has made written application to
he City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to
�hald their Homecoming Parade on October 3, 2008, and

`KI I N CO WHEREAS, said parade will begin at approximately 2 : 40 p.m.
co Fand end at approximately 3 : 30 p.m. , with route starting at the
R= intersection of High Street and Vine Street, proceeding to East
�th Street and Walnut Street, continuing on East 5th Street to
Sycamore Street, left on Sycamore Street, left on East 6th
street, proceeding on East 6th Street crossing Franklin Street,
returning to East High School using Martin Luther King Boulevard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of East High School to hold
,their Homecoming Parade on October 3, 2008, beginning at
capproximately 2 : 40 p.m. and ending at approximately 3 : 30 p.m. ,
With route starting at the intersection of High Street and Vine
Street, proceeding to East 5th Street and Walnut Street,
continuing on East 5th Street to Sycamore Street, left on Sycamore
Street, left on East 6th Street, proceeding on East 6th Street
crossing Franklin Street, returning to East High School using
Martin Luther King Boulevard, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 2008 .
