RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ESTIMATED COST ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION
c WITH THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2009 AUTOMATED
SIDE-LOADING GARBAGE TRUCK.

C H WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
her(tofore instructed the Superintendent of Central Garage of
ai City to prepare proposed specifications, bid document, form
o.f contract, etc. , for the Purchase of One (1) 2009 Automated
,gide=Loading Garbage Truck, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
--) :K , WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Central Garage did file said
ir"el,lminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc. ,
tot _"the Purchase of One (1) 2009 Automated Side-Loading Garbage
Truck, which were preliminarily approved on October 6, 2008, and
' ' WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
October 20, 2008, and no objections were made .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed specifications, bid document,
form_ of contract, etc. , for the Purchase of One (1) 2009

utomated Side-Loading Garbage Truck, in the City of Waterloo,
owa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October, 2008 .
