DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
77 AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
`'that the Application dated November 17, 2008 , for FY09 Economic
JDevelopment Initiative Special Purpose Grant funds in the amount
-of $343 , 000 . 00 to be utilized for Neighborhood Revitalization to
stabilize existing housing through repairs and energy efficient
-programs, by and between U. S . Department of Housing and Urban
c development and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
:behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Community Development
-Director be hereby authorized to submit said application to the
I3:5 . Department of Housing and Urban Development .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November, 2008 .
