RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH U. S .
^ _ DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
H AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION
s BY MAYOR.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Application dated November 17 , 2008 , for FY09 Economic
``Development Initiative Special Purpose Grant funds in the amount
$196 , 000 . 00 to be utilized for renovation, construction and
of
- the Cedar Valley TechWorks facility, by and between
ofout of
US . Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of
'A :Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
-Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Community Development
director be hereby authorized to submit said application to the
-.U.5 . Department of Housing and Urban Development .
