RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1021
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH U. S .
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
_ AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION
BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Application dated November 17, 2008, for FY09 Economic
D-evelopment Initiative Special Purpose Grant funds in the amount
a of- $343 , 000 . 00 to be utilized for the Chamberlain site
-dgmolition, by and between U. S . Department of Housing and Urban
-p?evelopment and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
,hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Community Development
Director be hereby authorized to submit said application to the
U.S . Department of Housing and Urban Development .
