y n o RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
H s F. Y . 2008 E. 4T" STREET RECONSTRUCTION AND
STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT N0. 742 .
s � � WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2008-448 , plans, specifhcations,
m of contract, etc . , for the F. Y. 2008 E. 4 Street
so Reconstruction and Streetscape Improvements, Contract No. 742, in
th-e City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and adopted by

s Council after the hearing prescribed by statute .
00 � nn1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
4 CdA-'ERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
s so ordered on motion by this Council that the said
�rovements be constructed in accordance with said plans and
spy cifications .

�- `�T-r That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
e's�Eimates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the
p-tte is completed and materials delivered and the work approved,
except that before the last month' s payment is made the
LSatractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
mowing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
€axnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
mor, and that the City may retain the last month' s payment for
a period of 31 days following such completion and approval,
unless satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" .
