ro RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION PROJECT,

r7H CONTRACT NO. 157-D-GO-05-26-08 .

o tantract No. 157-D-GO-05-26-08, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
�;a�Te been approved and adopted by this Council after the hearing
pigscribed by statute .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RA�TERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
CV isv so ordered on motion by this Council that the said
4mprovements be constructed in accordance with said plans and
�§p�,6cifications .
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
1; imates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the
-same is completed and materials delivered and the work approved,

dxept that before the last month' s payment is made the
*Qbtractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
-snowing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
X,urnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
.labor, and that the City may retain the last month' s payment for
a period of 31 days following such completion and approval,
finless satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 2008 .
