RESOLUTION NO. 2008-301
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF MY WATERLOO DAYS TO HOLD MY
WATERLOO DAYS EVENT FROM MAY 29 - JUNE 1,
2008 .
WHEREAS, the Executive Director of My Waterloo Days has made
written application to the City Council asking that they be
authorized and permitted to hold My Waterloo Days event from
May 29 - June 1, 2008, with most activities to be held in and
around Lincoln Park and numerous street closings, including People
in the Park on May 29th and May 30th; the Fireworks on May 30th; the
Parade, Children' s Bike Races, and 5K Run on May 31St; and the
Lincoln Park Kid' s Zone on June lst
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to the Executive
Director of My Waterloo Days to hold My Waterloo Days event from
May 29 - June 1, 2008, with most activities to be held in and
around Lincoln Park and numerous street closings, including People
in the Park on May 29th and May 30th; the Fireworks on May 30th; the
Parade, Children' s Bike Races, and 5K Run on May 31St; and the
Lincoln Park Kid' s Zone on June 1St'
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 2008 .
