RESOLUTION NO. 2008-196
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF GRAINGER,
INC. ON BEHALF OF LEONDORF LLC FOR A SITE
PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "B-P" BUSINESS PARK
DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND
SAN MARNAN DRIVE IN THE COUNTRY CLUB BUSINESS
CENTER SECOND ADDITION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A 40, 000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE BUILDING WITH
A 20, 000 SQUARE FOOT FUTURE ADDITION IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for property generally located at the
southeast corner of Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive in the
Country Club Business Center Second Addition for the construction
of a 40, 000 square foot office building with a 20, 000 square foot
future addition, legally described as follows :
Lot 1 Country Club Business Center Second Addition,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa .
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 17, 2008, at
5 : 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "B-P"
Business Park District for property generally located at the
southeast corner of Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive in the
Country Club Business Center Second Addition for the construction
of a 40, 000 square foot office building with a 20, 000 square foot
future addition, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 2008 .
