RESOLUTION APPROVING A FEDERAL -AID AGREEMENT
WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR IOWA'S TRANSPORTATION
ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM FUNDING, IN THE AMOUNT
OF EIGHTY PERCENT OF ELIGIBLE PROJECT COSTS UP
TO $1,936,178, WITH THE CITY PAYING THE BALANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH HIGHWAY 63 ENHANCEMENTS
FROM WASHINGTON STREET TO PARKER STREET, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Federal Aid Agreement dated May 26, 2020, between the Iowa Department of
Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for Iowa's Transportation Alternatives Program
funding, for Highway 63 Enhancements from Washington Street to Parker Street, in the amount
of eighty percent of eligible project costs up to $1,936,178, with the City paying the balance, is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of May 2020.
