ORDINANCE NO. 5122
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO THE "B -P" BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in
Section 10-4-4, of Ordinance No. 5079, as amended, City of
Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended to approve a site plan
amendment to the "B -P" Business Park District, for property
generally described as the southwest corner of Greyhound Drive
and Ridgeway Avenue, for the purpose of developing a new 4,000
square foot office building, legally described as follows:
The East One-half of the Northwest Fractional Quarter
of Section 6 except the West 440 feet thereof;
The West One-half of the Northeast Fractional
Quarter of Section 6;
That part of the East One-half of the Northeast
Fractional Quarter of Section 6 lying northwesterly of
the former right of way of the Wisconsin, Iowa and
Nebraska Railway Company (later known as Chicago Great
Western Rail Road) except that part thereof conveyed in
538 LD 248;
That part of the North One-half of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 6 lying northwesterly of the former
right of way of the Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska
Railway Company (later known as Chicago Great Western
Rail Road) except that part thereof described as
follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of the
Northwest Quarter of said Southeast Quarter; thence
east 210 feet along the North line of said Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence south parallel
to the West line of said Southeast Quarter 1069.56
feet; thence Southeasterly 261.64 feet along a curve
concave northeasterly, having a radius of 576.62 feet
and a long chord of NI2053108"W 259.40 feet to a point
on the south line of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter which is 268.35 feet easterly from
the southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence West 268.35 feet; thence
North along the west line of said Southeast Quarter
1322.37 feet to the point of beginning;
All in Township 88 North, Range 13 West of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
except those parts thereof conveyed to Black Hawk
County, Iowa in 119 LD 73 and to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, in 536 LD 913, 549 LD 910, 552 LD 474 and 552 LD
478.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
