RESOLUTION NO. 2020-386
RESOLUTION RE -SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY
13, 2020 TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE DOWNTOWN
WATERLOO RIVERFRONT URBAN RENEWAL AND
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, TO UPDATE PROJECTS AND PROJECT
BUDGETS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN, AND OTHER
GENERAL UPDATES TO THE PLAN, AND RE -SETTING DATE OF
CONSULTATION WITH TAXING ENTITIES AS JUNE 17, 2020, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of July, 2020, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an amendment to the Downtown Waterloo Riverfront
Urban Renewal and Redevelopment Plan, to update projects and project budgets to be included
in the Plan and other general updates to the Plan, and re -setting date of consultation with taxing
entities as June 17, 2020.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and consultation with taxing entities, in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June 2020.
