RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS AND FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.,
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS JUNE 11, 2020, AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JUNE 15, 2020, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT - AIRLINE PASSENGER TERMINAL BUILDING
CARPET REPLACEMENT PROGRAM (PHASE 1), IOWA DOT
AVIATION BUREAU PROJECT NO: 9-I-190-ALO-200, AND
IOWA DOT AVIATION BUREAU CONTRACT NO. 20601,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport - Airline Passenger Terminal Building Carpet
Replacement Program (Phase 1), Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Project No: 9-I-190-ALO-200, and
Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Contract No. 20601, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport -
Airline Passenger Terminal Building Carpet Replacement Program (Phase 1), Iowa DOT
Aviation Bureau Project No: 9-I-190-ALO-200, and Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Contract No.
20601, be scheduled for June 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of June 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport - Airline Passenger
Terminal Building Carpet Replacement Program (Phase 1), Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Project
No: 9-I-190-ALO-200, and Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Contract No. 20601.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
