RESOLUTION NO. 2020-338
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO FRICKSON BROTHERS
EXCAVATING, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $14,000, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, FOR
DEMOLITION SERVICES AT 411 EAST 8TH STREET, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Frickson Brothers Excavating, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the
amount of $14,000, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the demolition services
at 411 East 8th Street, and
WHEREAS, Frickson Brothers Excavating, Inc. submitted a written contract, bond and
certificate of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction demolition services at 411 East 8th
Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Frickson Brothers Excavating, Inc., in the amount of $14,000, in
conjunction with the demolition services at 411 East 8th Street, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Frickson
Brothers Excavating, Inc., in conjunction with the demolition services at 411 East 8th Street, are
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2020.
