RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
F.Y. 2007 RIVERLOOP EXPOSITION PLAZA, PHASE
n H 1, CONTRACT NO. 721.

" WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2007-660, plans, specifications,
c foam of contract, etc. , for the F.Y. 2007 Riverloop Exposition
K4za, Phase 1, Contract No. 721, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
bVe been approved and adopted by this Council after the hearing

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
so ordered on motion by this Council that the said
rovements be constructed in accordance with said plans and
spLcifications.

That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
estimates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the

contractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
showing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
furnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
labor, and that the City may retain the last month' s payment for
a period of 31 days following such completion and approval,
unless satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" .
