RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO EAST HIGH
SCHOOL TO HOLD ANNUAL HOMECOMING PARADE ON

s o o WHEREAS, East High School has made written application to

whir City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to
N hz)d their annual Homecoming Parade on October 5, 2007, and

ti R: WHEREAS, said parade will begin at approximately 2 : 40 p.m.
fid" end at approximately 3 : 30 p.m. , with` route starting on the
fbrth side of East High School going west to East 4th Street,
from East 4th Street go southbound until reaching East 4th Street
ind Sycamore Street, turn left on Sycamore Street until reaching
E�2st 6th Street, at East 6th Street and Sycamore Street, the
rade will turn left continuing north to East High School .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
�ATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of East High School to hold
their annual Homecoming Parade on October 5, 2007 to begin at
approximately 2 : 40 p.m. and end at approximately 3 : 30 p.m. , with
rmute starting on the north side of East High School going west
to East 4th Street, from East 4th Street go southbound until
reaching East 4th Street and Sycamore Street, turn left on
Sycamore Street until reaching East 6th Street, at East 6th Street
and Sycamore Street, the parade will turn left continuing north
to East High School, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 2007 .
