ORDINANCE NO. 5133
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2007 CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY
AMENDING SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER 3, GENERAL
PENALTIES, OF TITLE 1, ADMINISTRATION AND
RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 5131 IN ITS
ENTIRETY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Section 2 of Chapter 3, General Penalties, of Title 1,
Administration, is hereby amended to strike paragraph C,
Penalties, therefrom and to substitute therefore a new paragraph
C, as follows:
1-3-2: MUNICIPAL INFRACTIONS:
C. Penalties: To increase the civil penalties for
municipal infractions in line with maximums allowed by
state law.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Ordinance No. 5131 be, and the
same hereby is, rescinded in its entirety.
