ORDINANCE NO. 5131
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2007 CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY
AMENDING SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER 3, GENERAL
PENALTIES, OF TITLE 1, ADMINISTRATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Section 2 of Chapter 3, General Penalties, of Title 1,
Administration, is hereby amended to strike paragraph C,
Penalties, therefrom and to substitute therefor a new paragraph
C, as follows:
1-3-2: MUNICIPAL INFRACTIONS:
C. Penalties: The civil penalty for a municipal
infraction, other than environmental violations, shall
be scheduled as follows:
First offense: $ 750.00
Subsequent offenses: $1,000.00
INTRODUCED: September 4, 2012
PASSED 1St CONSIDERATION: September 4, 2012
PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: September 4, 2012
PASSED 3rd CONSIDERATION: September 4, 2012
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 4th day of September, 2012, and approved
by the Mayor on the 4th day of September, 2012.
