AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2008 TRAFFIC CODE
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (39) KIMBALL AVENUE
OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS AS TO THE 20 FEET NORTH OF
ORANGE ROAD TO BLAINE ROAD ONLY; AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (39) KIMBALL
AVENUE OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS AS TO THE 20 FEET
NORTH OF ORANGE ROAD TO BLAINE ROAD ONLY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Subsection (39) Kimball Avenue of Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2008 Traffic
Code, is hereby amended only as to the 20 feet north of Orange
Road to Blaine Road to increase from 25 mph to 30 mph, of Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2008
Traffic Code, by as follows:
(39) Kimball Avenue -
from 20 feet north of Orange Road to Blaine Road 30 mph
The remaining Subsection (39) Kimball Avenue of Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2008 Traffic
Code, shall remain unchanged, and unaffected by this amendment to
the Ordinance.
