RESOLUTION NO. 2020-403
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO PETERSON
CONTRACTORS, INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $634,794.80, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020 NEWELL STREET
RISE PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 991, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the bid of Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, in the amount of $634,794.80, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Newell Street RISE Project, Contract No. 991, as approved per
specifications by Resolution No. 2020-342, after public hearing on May 18, 2020, on published
notice required by law, is hereby accepted and awarded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June 2020.
