RESOLUTION NO. 2020-407
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS JULY 9, 2020 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS JULY 13, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE AT GREYHOUND DRIVE
TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the West Ridgeway Avenue at Greyhound Drive Traffic Safety Improvements Project, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the West Ridgeway Avenue at
Greyhound Drive Traffic Safety Improvements Project, be scheduled for July 9, 2020 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of July 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the West Ridgeway Avenue at Greyhound Drive
Traffic Safety Improvements Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June 2020.
