RESOLUTION NO. 2007-865
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CHILLI
PALMER LLC FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"M-21P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF WEST SHAULIS ROAD AND HIGHWAY 63
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CONTRACTOR BUSINESS
BUILDING AND FUTURE STORAGE BUILDINGS IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "M-2, P"
Planned Industrial District for property generally located at the
northwest corner of West Shaulis Road and Highway 63 for the
development of a contractor business building and future storage
buildings, legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West part of the Southeast of
Section 12 Township 88 Range 14 beginning at a point on
the Northwesterly right-of-way of C & NW Transportation
Company that is 635. 6 feet Northeasterly of the South
line of said Section, thence Northwesterly at right
angles to the right-of-way line a distance of 500 feet,
thence Northeasterly at right angles a distance of 443
feet, thence Southeasterly at right angles to a point
on the Westerly right-of-way line of said Railroad,
thence Southwesterly along said right-of-way line to
the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 8, 2007, at
5: 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "M-2, P"
Planned Industrial District for property generally located at the
northwest corner of West Shaulis Road and Highway 63 for the
development of a contractor business building and future storage
buildings, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of October, 2007 .
