RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF

GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION PROJECT,
o CONTRACT NO. 154-D-GO-11-15-07 .

N�_ \3 � WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2007-903, plans, specifications,
eta a, for the General Obligation Bond Demolition Project, Contract
N' X154-D-GO-11-15-07, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been
aT�pr-oved and adopted by this Council after the hearing prescribed
c b -tatute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WA'I'FJZLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
i - to ordered on motion by this Council that the said improvements
b; �bnstructed in accordance with said plans and specifications .
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
estimates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the
same is completed and materials delivered and the work approved,
ex-cut that before the last month ' s payment is made the
ccTtractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
sl�bWing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
filrn'ishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
labor, and that the City may retain the last month' s payment for
a period of 31 days following such completion and approval,
unless satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 2007 .
