WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has been informed by
Remington Partners, L. P. that a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
AlSptication will be filed with the Iowa Finance Authority for
a tse -development of affordable single-family rental homes to be
1Q-cated in the site behind Super Target, Waterloo, Iowa with a
1('421 description as follows :

r The East 10 acres of the South 20 acres of the North 40
acres of the Northwest Fractional 4 and the East 1175
z feet of the South 5 acres of the North 45 acres of the
Northwest Fractional 1-4, except that part of the above
described parcels lying West of the centerline of Bethel
Street if extended and except street, Section 2,
Township 88, Range 13, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, this housing project will contain 38 units and
will be targeted for families with children, and
WHEREAS, the project will be a new construction, and
WHEREAS, the Ownership Entity has requested no local
assistance .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that we support and approve the
development of the aforesaid housing in our community, subject
to city ordinances and the building permit process. This
resolution is effective until December 31, 2008 . In the event
that any of the characteristics mentioned above should change
prior to the issuance of a building permit, this resolution is
null and void.
