RESOLUTION NO. 2020-444 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF BID DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FYE 21 POLICE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT NEEDS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the Police Chief of said City to prepare and file bid documents, specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with the FYE 21 Police vehicle equipment needs, and WHEREAS, said Police Chief did file said bid documents, specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with the FYE 21 Police vehicle equipment needs, and WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 15, 2020. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by this Council that said bid documents, specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with the FYE 21 Police vehicle equipment needs, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
