RESOLUTION NO. 2012-21
RESOLUTION APPROVING WATERLOO CONVENTION AND
VISITORS BUREAU BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
FUNDING THE WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS,
GROUNT MUSEUM DISTRICT AND NATIONAL WRESTLING
HALL OF FAME, DAN GABLE MUSEUM REQUEST FOR A
HOTEL/MOTEL GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the recommendations from the Waterloo Convention and
Visitors Bureau Board for funding the Waterloo Center for the
Arts in the amount of $37,323, Grout Museum District in the
amount of $21,557, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Dan
Gable Museum, in the amount of $7,120, request for a hotel/motel
tax grant, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 2012.
