RESOLUTION NO. 2012-058
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF A RESOURCE
ENHANCEMENT AND PROTECTION GRANT FROM THE
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES IN THE
AMOUNT OF $193,400.00, FOR ACQUISITION &
DEVELOPMENT RELATED TO THE SHERWOOD PARK
RECREATION AREA AND HARTMAN RESERVE EXPANSION
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
AUTHORIZED TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Grant Agreement dated January 23, 2012, in the amount of
$193,400.00, with a match of up to $193,400.00, to be used for
acquisition and development related to the Sherwood Park
Recreation Area and Hartman Reserve Expansion Project, by and
between the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk authorized and directed to execute said document.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of January 2012.
