RESOLUTION NO. 2012-071
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO
ASSESSMENT F.Y. 2012 SIDEWALK REPAIR
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 1, B & B BUILDERS
AND SUPPLY, CONTRACT NO. 811, FOR 840
NEWTON STREET IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, a proposal for repairs for one sidewalk panel needing
replacement and a second possible panel needing replacement was
sent to the homeowner of the property located at 840 Newton Street,
and
WHEREAS, the property located at 840 Newton Street was
assessed $383.85 for said repairs, and
WHEREAS, one sidewalk panel was replaced at 840 Newton Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the assessment for 840 Newton Street in the
amount of $383.85 is hereby amended due to correction of documents
and amounts, to $188.51.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer of said
amendment to assessment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of January, 2012.
