RESOLUTION NO. 2012-89
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF BID TO VERMEER SALES AND SERVICE OF PELLA,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 175,000.00 IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE RENTAL/PURCHASE OF ONE
(1) USED VERMEER TG525L TUB GRINDER, WITH AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Vermeer Sales and Service of Pella, Iowa, in
the amount of $175,000.00, with an agreement of 6 months rental
at $20,000.00 and a purchase price after 6 months of $55,000.00
in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) used Vermeer TG525L
tub grinder described in the specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said purchase with Resolution No. 2012-41, after
public hearing on January 23, 2012 on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of January, 2012.
