RESOLUTION NO. 2012-96
RESOLUTION APPROVING REAL ESTATE SALE
CONTRACT WITH IOWA COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION FOR
THE ACQUISITION OF 320 WEST 2ND STREET IN THE
AMOUNT OF $814,060.00 WITH UP TO $60,000.00
IN CITY ENVIRONMENTAL, TEMPORARY LOCATION,
AND CLOSING COSTS, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that that the Contract dated January 30, 2012 between Iowa
Community Credit Union, (fka Watel Credit Union), and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of $814,060.00, with up to
$60,000.00 in city environmental, temporary location and closing
costs, for the acquisition of 320 West 2nd Street, is hereby
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of January 2012.
