RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING REQUEST
FOR PROPOSALS, PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR THE FOLLOWING
PROPERTIES: 820 AND 910 SYCAMORE STREET; 626-
628 W. 9TH STREET; AND 1518 W. 4TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning and Development
Director of said City to prepare requests for proposals, plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
asbestos abatement services for the following properties: 820 and
910 Sycamore Street; 626-628 w. 9th Street; and 1518 W. 4th
Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director
did file said requests for proposals, plans, specifications, form
of contract, etc., in conjunction with the asbestos abatement
services for the following properties: 820 and 910 Sycamore
Street; 626-628 w. 9th Street; and 1518 W. 4th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said requests for proposals, plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
asbestos abatement services for the following properties: 820 and
910 Sycamore Street; 626-628 w. 9th Street; and 1518 W. 4th Street,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby,
preliminarily approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2012.
