RESOLUTION NO. 2012-165
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH
DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARING SERVICES (NO
REGULATED ASBESTOS -CONTAINING MATERIALS)FOR
PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 212, 302, 306-308 AND
312 JEFFERSON STREETS; 319 WEST 2ND STREET
(SPORTS-PLEX AREA).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning & Development
Director of said City to prepare a request for proposals plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
Demolition and Site Clearing Services,(no regulated asbestos -
containing materials),for properties located at 212, 302, 306-308
and 312 Jefferson Streets; 319 West 2nd Street(Sports-Plex Area),
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning & Development Director did
file said request for proposals, plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. in conjunction with Demolition and Site Clearing
Services(no regulated asbestos -containing materials), for
properties located at 212, 302, 306-308 and 312 Jefferson Streets;
319 West 2nd Street (Sports-Plex Area), which were preliminarily
approved by Resolution No. 2012-125 on February 6, 2012, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
February 20, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said request for proposals plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with
Demolition and Site Clearing Services,(no regulated asbestos -
containing materials), for properties located at 212, 302, 306-
308 and 312 Jefferson Streets; 319 West 2nd Street (Sports-Plex
Area), in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are
hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2012.
