RESOLUTION NO. 2012-166
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARING
SERVICES (NO REGULATED ASBESTOS -CONTAINING
MATERIALS)FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 212, 302,
306-308 AND 312 JEFFERSON STREETS; 319 WEST 2ND
STREET (SPORTS-PLEX AREA).
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2012-165, resolution confirming
approval of plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Demolition and Site Clearing Services,(no
regulated asbestos -containing materials),for properties located
at 212, 302, 306-308 and 312 Jefferson Streets; 319 West 2nd
Street(Sports-Plex Area), in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have
been approved and adopted by this Council after the public
hearing on February 20, 2012 as prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said project
proceed in accordance with said plans and specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February 2012.
