RESOLUTION NO. 2012-193
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RADIO
COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, WATERLOO IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $37,709.00, AND APPROVING CONTRACT,
BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE SAN MARNAN TRAFFIC
MONITORING SYSTEM PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE TE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract, Bond and Certificate of Insurance with
Radio Communications Systems, Waterloo Iowa, in the amount of
$37,709.00, in conjunction with the San Marnan Traffic Monitoring
System Project, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project in Resolution
No. 2012-130, after public hearing on February 13, 2012 on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of February 2012.
