RESOLUTION NO. 2020-459
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 9, 2020 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 13, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH ASPHALT EMULSIONS FOR THE CITY'S RECYCLED
ASPHALT PAVING PROGRAM, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
Section 1. That the preliminary specification, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with
Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt Paving Program, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with Asphalt Emulsions for the City's
Recycled Asphalt Paving Program, be scheduled for July 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of July, 2020 to hold
a public hearing, for the purpose of discussion and approval of Asphalt Emulsions for the City's
Recycled Asphalt Paving Program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
