RESOLUTION NO. 2020-465
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM JERRY MABRY ON JUNE 27,
2020 FROM NOON TO 5:00 P.M. IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE CELEBRATION OF THE LIFE OF TERRY MABRY
EVENT, TO BE HELD AT FERGUSON FIELD, INCLUDING
AN AMPLIFIED SOUND SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Jerry Mabry is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 27,
2020 from noon to 5:00 p.m., to be held at Ferguson Field, in conjunction with the Celebration of
Life for Terry Mabry, including an amplified sound system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jerry Mabry for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094,
Noise Ordinance, in conjunction with the celebration of the life of Terry Mabry event, to be held
at Ferguson Field, June 27, 2020 from noon to 5:00 p.m., including an amplified sound system,
be hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of June 2020.
