RESOLUTION NO. 2007-394
RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR THE OTHER PLACE (FORMERLY
FITZGERALD' S RESTAURANT) LOCATED AT 360 EAST
RIDGEWAY AVENUE TO ALLOW FOR RENOVATIONS AND
A 25' ADDITION TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF BUILDING
TOWARD CATARACT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor Site Plan Amendment for the
Other Place (formerly Fitzgerald' s restaurant) located at 360
East Ridgeway Avenue to allow for renovations and a 25' addition
to the south side of the building toward Cataract Avenue, legally
described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West part of Section 3 Township 88
Range 13 commencing at a point on South line of East
Ridgeway Avenue 115 . 45 feet West of East line West
fractional 1-4 Northwest 1-4 said Section 3 which point is
also the Northwest corner of Lot 181 in Crestview
Second Addition thence South 200 feet thence Westerly
150 feet thence North 200 feet thence Easterly 150 feet
to beginning, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor Site Plan Amendment for
the Other Place (formerly Fitzgerald' s restaurant) located at 360
East Ridgeway Avenue to allow for renovations and a 25' addition
to the south side of the building toward Cataract Avenue, be and
the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 2007, and approved
by the Mayor this 23rd day of May, 2007 .
