Vestal OBSERVATION DATE: January 28, 2016 NOTE ALL LAW AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, EVEN IF NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THIS CHECKLIST. {IT IIS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE A COMPLETELY FINISHED, PROPERLY OPERATING, MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, COMPLY/NG WITH GENERAL ITEMS: • Submit as -built drawings as required by the specifications. • Submit operation and maintenance manuals for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunication systems as required by the architectural specifications. • Instruct owner in operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunication systems as required by the architectural specifications. • Fire caulk and seal all rated wall and floors to maintain fire rating. Refer to state fire marshal's comment for additional requirements. • Ensure equipment warranty information has been completed and given to the owner as required by the architectural specifications. • Confirm all training and commissioning have been completed with owner and staff. ELECTRICAL ITEMS: • Provide labeled nameplates for all devices and a typed updated circuit directory for all branch and distribution panels per Specification Section 26 2416. • Clean all Tight fixtures and replace failed lamps per Specification Section 26 5100. • Label sound system/mic/outlets, amps, and microphones in accordance with owner's room labeling standards. • Label all receptacles with panel and circuit number. • Cover all open junction boxes — label per specifications. • Provide painted blank covers for all open ceiling boxes. • Clean projector screen trim surface. • Provide eight (8) button A/V controllers keeping the same 4 button A/V setup. Spare 4 buttons for future A/V. • Confirm all downlight trim pieces are flush with ceiling grid. • Sound system contractor to perform final training with owner, staff, and verify final labeling change.
