RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
U. S. 63 AND PARKER STREET INTERSECTION TRAFFIC
`s SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, CS-TSF-8155 (684)-85-07,
CONTRACT NO. 722 .

c = WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2007-290, plans, specifications,
Zl- m of contract, etc. , for the U. S. 63 and Parker Street
I'tersection Traffic Safety Improvements, CS-TSF-8155 (684)-85-07,
L Cor$ract No. 722, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been
4&owed and adopted by this Council after the hearing prescribed
?' b_y -:6tatute.
77 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WT�'FERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
Ls ; so ordered on motion by this Council that the said
improvements be constructed in accordance with said plans and
s �ifications .
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
e9 trimates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the
same is completed and materials delivered and the work approved,
eZrrppt that before the last month' s payment is made the
05nrtractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
s-awing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
fuiaishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
labor, and that the City may retain the last month ' s payment for
a period of 31 days following such completion and approval,
un, ess satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
cbmihenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 2007 .
