Smoke detector is needed in basement. CO detector is needed in vicinity of the bedrooms. Violation Comments IPMC 605 All electric outlets need approved covers. Open fixtures basement need covers. Exposed wires in boxes. Electric panel missing fuses. All light fixtures will need approved globes installed. IFC 605.5 Electric cords in use and need removed. Multiple adapters in use and need removed. IPMC 305.6 Interior doors shall fit reasonably well within its frame and shall be capable of being opened and closed. Basement door and door to front area need replaced. IPMC 504 Water heater not installed to code. Supply lines are in pex and need to be hard piped up 18"inches off top of water heater. NO permit of water heater installation. Pex piping not secured as code requires. Pex just hanging from area in basement. New sanitary PVC stack and PVC pipe for bathroom not installed to code. Need to install cover on open duct n chimney. IPMC 307 Need handrails to basement the entire length of the stairs. IPMC 305 Nails exposed on basement stairs wall going to basement need removed. Peeling and abraded paint throughout needs corrected. Potential for lead base paint in unit with house being built before 1978. Paneling coming loose from walls in several areas of house. IFC 906 Need updated fire extinguisher in unit. IPMC 304.15 Back door is not installed and maintained in weather tight condition. Door shall be maintained in good condition and shall tightly secure door. IPMC 304.13 Windows and frames shall be kept in sound condition good repair,and weather tight.Windows shall be easily openable and capable of being held in the position by window,hardware. IPMC 304.11 Need chimney cap on duct on chimney in basement. Violation Comments IPMC 102.5 Workmanship repairs, maintenance work, alterations, or installations shall be executed and installed in a workmanship manner and installed in accordance with the manufacture's instructions and meet the requirements of the code. IRC 105 Permits&inspections will be required for the installation of the furnace and water heater. Licensed contractors will need to make corrections to make items safe and installed to code. Inspections will need to be made by the HVAC inspector. Plumbing inspector will need to inspect all plumbing installed that is not installed to meet code.
