Smoke detectors needed on each level and in basement. CO detectors needed in vicinity of the bedrooms. Violation Comments IPMC 304.13 All windows need to be maintained in good condition. Repair all broken windows. Front window do not close and are letting in a lot of outside air.Windows other that a fixed window shall be easily operable and capable of being held in position by window hardware.Windows that are screwed shut will need to be removed and made functional. Repair all non- functional windows and ensure they are in good condition and weather tight. IFC 906 Updated fire extinguisher needed. IPMC 605 Several outlets are burned and need replaced. Ceiling fan in living room needs replaced. Light in kids bedroom needs approved fixture to hang light in bedroom. Exposed wires behind bathroom door need terminated. IPMC 305 Floors need newflooring installed in kitchen, upstairs hallway, and in bathroom. Ceiling in dining room is leaking and missing tiles. Fix ceiling in dining room. Ceiling in kids bedroom needs repaired.All holes and peeling paint on walls will need repaired. IPMC 403.5 Dryer is exhausting in basement and needs to exhaust to the exterior. IPMC 504 Water heater is missing the discharge tube.Toilet is needed new lid/seat. Bathtub surround needs replaced. IPMC 304.15 All doors door assemblies, operating systems,and hardware shall be maintained in good condition and weather tight. Front door needs replaced. Screen door needs replaced since it is broken. IPMC 305.6 Interior doors shall fit reasonable well within its frame, and shall be capable of being opened and closed by properly and securely attached to jambs. All doors shall have the property hardware attached to the doors. IPMC 602 Register covers need to be secured to the registers. Furnace needs to maintain 68 degrees in unit. Thermostat not functioning as intended. Check furnace and thermostat by a licensed contractor licensed to do work in Waterloo. IPMC 309 Rodent infestation in unit. Mice will need to be exterminated by an approved method that will not be injurious to occupants. Hire exterminator to eliminate infestation. IPMC 304.7 Sever ice dam from gutters being full and not being able to drain. Remove all ice dams. IPMC 307 Handrails are needed to basement. IPMC 304.10 Front deck flooring needs replaced.All decking shall be maintained structurally sound and in good repair with proper anchorage and capable of supporting the imposed loads.
